Yeah. @ Saunders out there on that gapper. Didn't have a good feel for the layout of the field and the carry of the ball.

Felix needed to be out there to complete 7. It's standard for your ace to do that. Then you have Capps in the 8th and Wilhelmsen in the 9th. You can't risk bridging your starter to your setup man by pitching to matchups for an inning. It'll cost you in a close game....Like so.

Seriously, when is Wedge going to start to feel some heat? Patience has wore thin but it seems as if mediocrity is acceptable to the Seattle fans. You never hear media going against Wedge and questioning some of his moves instead it's the same damn tune of us being 'close' and pleading with the fans to 'have patience'

I cant handle anymore Wedge....I can't...I just hope this hovering around .500 doesnt give him enough security to stay by passing it off as hope and improvement. This team will get nowhere with that guy

I can still tolerate Ack and Montero for now. I dont even pay Smoak any mind anymore.

Wedge gets the benefit of the doubt because a lot of the young guys we have, are not living up to expectations. I agree, tonight was a poorly managed game, but Felix was a little gimpy after getting rolled up on.

Bottom line is that we cannot fire a coach every 2-3 years and hope to build for something down the road. Guys need to start hitting, but that is hard to do when you are pressing night in and night out.

Jack Z knows his job is on the line, that is why he keeps trotting Ackley, Monterro, Smoak and Ryan out there. These are his guys. If he sends them down, then he ends up with yolk on his face.

I wish the Mariners had owners who care. There'd be a lot more urgency right now. That's for sure.

I know the M's aren't hitting but someone needs to be accountable. Z can blame Wedge/the players, Wedge can blame the players/Z for not shaking it up more, the players can just keep living it up collecting the checks because neither of the other two will do anything.
