School me on the BMW 325i 2001 Updated With Pics

I bought a 7 series 98 BMW a while ago and it's ran great.
It has 130k but it's smooth and I haven't ran into any problems with it
Plus Beamers can have crazy mileage and still run great as long as they were well kept
As long as you buy from a reputable dealer and the car and engine seem to be in good shape then I would say pull the trigger
Not to mention ladies love BMW's

but if i was to save more for a newer model than, if that one breaks down than im pretty sure that newer model is going to cost more than the older model plus the insurance would be higher aswell for the newer one.... im just saying...
why are you trying to get a luxury car on a compact car budget?

Just found this. This was me documenting how much money I was blowing on my 2001 325ci...and this isn't all the repairs.  I'm going to start posting this every time (every 3 weeks) this thread comes up.  Dudes just don't seem to understand that you have to "pay to play" with German cars.

Get a Japanese car. I'd recommend the first gen Lexus IS300, those things are near bulletproof.

Also - Nissan Altima SE-R, Acura TL Type-S, Mazdaspeed 3, Subaru WRX, all of these used you can find less than $10k and they are extremely reliable and great to drive.

Longest you went without a repair was like three-four months. Ridiculous. New BMW's are probably even worse, one thing i don't like about cars nowadays is all the crap thats included in it. I don't need the car to stop automatically for me, i don't need it to turn on the windshield wipers automatically when it starts to rain, no back up cameras or automatic parallel parking systems. It's ridiculous all the crap that's being put into cars nowadays.

ANY used car can have problems do your research

an when it comes to german cars just make sure you can afford the maintenance an always join a forum that caters to your car for best advice.

Honestly just buy a Japanese car. My dad's warranty on his 5 Series just ran out and his maintenance costs this year have been

He just paid $800 something a few weeks ago. Only go luxury if you don't really have other expenses

Hmm....it's not an M3? That's about the only thing worth discussing on NT about this car.
