If you think stockx/goat didn't help grow the reseller market by making it easier for buyers to buy and sellers to sell, not sure what to tell you. You made a weird point calling StockX a disease when it’s just another tool. You’ve been proven wrong this week. I don’t need to “drag it out”, but it’s important to note the real world impact of scum on our hobbies. They have dozens of digital platforms to use, on top of ones facilitating local sales which a lot of these cheap hustlers are more prone to use.
If you watched that video or read about a chump in LA brandishing a gun on someone for a Batman card and think StockX is the problem, you’re 100% in the wrong. Maybe re-evaluate and learn the difference between symptoms and causes.

I will add that typically don't look down on people's trying to make a living. It may negatively affect me, but I don't judge them for it. I don't view them as "scum."
I reserve my disdain for billionaires that feed into the never ending need to force capitalism into every facet of our society. I blame ticketmaster way more than the scalper. I blame stockx/goat/etc way more than the reseller flipping a couple pairs to buy diapers.

I shared accounts of this group pulling weapons on people in line in NY, a guy getting a gun pulled on him today in LA for a Batman card and you erroneously bring up people “making a living” as if reselling Batman cards is a living or that jacking people with an armed group for hyped releases is in any way acceptable. All to prop up an ignorant point about StockX.
If there were no StockX the scum would still find PLENTY of other places. You act like this wasn’t going on decades ago. It’s just worse now.
Also comparing Ticketmaster who owns their own scalping site and then implemented it for artists with their “platinum” tickets is wholly different than third party resale platforms. You got basically everything wrong in one post though!

Didn’t even make it to the screening. It was this morning in these moronic lineups. And even more sad, Kith called it unforeseen as if causing people to line up 12 hrs ahead of time for a movie screening wouldn’t have consequences!
