Thats actually a great point, especially with the Apple analogy. I'm the same way, I would buy the newest iPhone and or MacBook Pro because for one I am an Apple supporter and two like you said "trust." Great point. Repped!
ok cool.
but yea..i mean I would buy a new MacBook proot new iphone that apple dropped without seeing it. it comes down to brand loyalty and brand trust not necessarily all clout.. we're all here in the ron ron thread because we like his shoes. if you liked pretty much every asics Ronalds dropped, you can trust the next will be awesome without seeing.
just throwing that out there.
I don't think this is an accurate comparison

well shoes serve a function...but I see your point.

MacBook/iPhone/etc actually have FUNCTION as well as form. you know that Apple actually tries to make a better product from a performance standpoint, in addition to looks.
unlike RF's sneakers where (let's be honest) people buy only based on looks and not performance. so to say people would buy an RF sneaker without actually seeing is a little silly... and pretty sad if true
The model mightve been designed for performance, but in RFs hands it becomes a lifestyle shoe. Ppl cop Brons and Jordans and dont even play ball.

I've tried to wait until late in the hype cycle before voicing any opinions, I'll admit there was a solid week where I was gonna go for both but I think I'm now passing on both. Just not feeling the unripe watermelon vibes I'm getting.
this. you can only be excited for so long till it eventually dies down. august has been a good month too. there has been a lot of good releases...but the excitement will definitely shoot right back up towards the end of next week. we'll see when he releases the official pics.i really would be willing to bet that a month's worth of hype actually cuts more of people who originally want to purchase than folks give credit.. .. i see more people make impulse purchases on kicks that they only have about 5-7 days worth of teasers (and the shoe releases on the 7th or 8th day)..its evident when the shoes comes in and comments range from "man this shoe doesn't look nearly as good as the teaser pics"...or "the quality doesnt match the pictures"
for one, people aren't as patient as we would like to believe.. if you tell me on the 1st of the month that something is dropping on the 30th but there are 8 or 9 other releases that drop in between--some things will start to lose their luster..(just a tad bit of my theory/observations)
..i'm still been down for copping both though
