Brady is the GOAT QB plain and simple
the excuse for Montana taking a beating is stupid, defenses would gladly take out Brady if they could.
also, i thought you couldn't hit WR when Montana played either, because I see people use that excuse for why Unitas was better than Montana.

The excuse that Montana took a beating is only one of the reasons why Montana > Brady.

Wtf? WR got lit up when Montana played. Nobody crossing the middle was safe. Not only that, but cornerbacks were allowed to be waaay more aggressive and physical. Guess you never got to see Ronnie Lott play.

This is a Bay friendly board so I dare not speak against the omnipotent Joe Montana.
But in all honesty I believe a case can be made for either one. I just wish people would stop making it seem so unrealistic that Brady can be better. His receiving core was never as good as Montana's except when he had Moss which produced the greatest offensive season of all time. I don't think there's overwhelming argument for either one.
