Watched pro wrestling as a kid from about 1982 to 1987 and Randy Savage
might have been the best wrestler I ever saw. His athleticism was unrivaled
and his technique was in the same league as Tiger Mask, the Dynamite Kid,
Ric Steamboat, Pat Patterson and Bob Backlund.
Savage actually scared me a little bit as a kid and wouldn't have messed with him
as an adult either.
Saw a steel cage match he did against Jerry Lawler - old school with the old
chain link cage. He climbed to the top and jumped off (while it was wobbling
out of control) down to the floor on Lawler. This must have been around 1985.
He was the man in the air and never got the credit in my opinion.
