I snagged a pair of these for $36 at the Woodburn outlet on Black Friday and was wondering if they'd hold up on the court or should they just be for kickinaround?

very overrated imo...back when they dropped on nikeid, every NTer was sayin "Best bball shoe ever! Hands down."
I fell for the hype, and copped two pairs off nikeid.
On court performance is DECENT. But if you've ever tried on a pair of zk4s, 2k4s, or hyperdunks...you'll never go back to rockin some zf5s toball.

i did some id's in the nets colorway in a size 12 since i tried the 13 and they were too big, but 12.5 would be best too. thinking about ordering anotherpair in the mavericks colorway that he wore right before he switched to peak. probably will now since the BB3s got cancelled for us release.

the huarache 2k4 are definitely one of the best balling shoes around. to me the flight fives never seem to lace up tight enough for some reason or fit highenough for me to be comfortable, much like the penny 1's. back in the day I used to rock the Air Go LWP's and they were amazing, really lightweightnothing else like them to this day. The Penny 2's are not bad either , they can be had for cheap now.

what people may forget is that early implementations of zoom were rather firm. Compared to some zoom shoes og zf5s were fairly hard.

hoop in retros with old tech and decrease your

Every Penny had Zoom, and so did most of the Pippens, but in the early days some shoes had harder, less responsive, zoom than others.

not outdated per se, but as swingshot said the implementation of the tech changes over time.
