Reports LeBron wins 2nd straight NBA MVP

[h3]CLEVELAND (AP)[/h3]A person familiar with the announcement says LeBron James has won the NBA's MVP Award for the second straight year. The Cleveland Cavaliers star will receive the honor Sunday at the University of Akron
[h2]The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the league has not yet announced the results of the vote.

James averaged 29.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists this season. He led the Cavs to 61 wins and the top seed in the postseason. Cleveland opens its second-round series against the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

The Plain Dealer of Cleveland first announced that James won the award.

I don't see why anyone would hate. He did deserve it.

Only other person that had any type of shot at it was Durant.

I would've given Durant my vote, but I knew LeBron was going to win it all along. I'm waiting for the vote totals. I bet he won it close to unanimously too.
