umm you know Ford & GM licenses out those shells to be re-produced via aftermarket right? (good for parts or to create a new clone)

Sorry but Ill never get down with retro grey market automobiles. Those stangs are straight bootleg in my eyes and titled accordingly. The only reason these even exist is because idiots saw that dumb Nick Cage movie and want an "Eleanor".

Hell no

Hell no

HELL NO

Its not an old school without the ticks and tings, dents and dings the hole in the muffler and other minor things.

Want a vintage car?... build it yourself. These cars are a slap in the face to anyone that restored their own car from the ground up or maintained their vehicle and kept it in the family since new.

Ur high horse... get off it

Taebo Js are a slap in the face to all the clowns who waited hours n line and paid retail then?

Im not mad at replicas if they're done with good quality...

Unless you source out an original frame they're build on a tube chassis.

Have fun getting pulled over when a cop runs your plates and thinks your car is stolen because it comes up "Kit Car" or "Handmade" on their computer. Ill give them a pass if its a highly modded track car and they didn't want to cut up an original but 99.9% of these things are lame as hell and so are most people that drive them.

How are they bootlegged when they're OFFICIALLY

LICENSED BY FORD? :lol lets not sound elitist now...

I got ZERO problen with these, especially when you

Can custom make them how you want with current

Pro touring technology :hat

They are officially licensed as spare replacement parts. Sure that dosent stop people from building the whole thing but tube chassis kit cars are not the reason company's gave these the greenlight.

Im no purist when it comes to cars but like I said... Unless your starting with an authentic VIN chassis.... its a bootleg.

Only one company has the licence to build and sell these kit cars from the ground up and they prey upon idiots with too much money that want "the car from the movie" charging 140-180 grand for a car :x

Even then, they still got sued by Shelby and had to remove the "Shelby" name from any replicas they produce.

No doubt, but the illusion only lasts until the car is on a lift and you find out the chassis is made of paperclips. :lol

Umm you know da aftermarket muscle car

companies make complete chassis as well right?

Muscle cars with current technology can be

completely made 100% out of a parts catalog.

GM & Ford still sell crate engines too..muscle

Car clones should NOT be grouped onto this

fiberglass Lamborghini nonsense.

Check out Detroit speed, you can get a complete

Subframe with da latest & greatest in pro touring

Technology has to offer.

Having a OG vin # is pretty much all you need to

Resurrect a rusted out muscle car that u aint trying

To do a complete rotisserie restoration to.

that 350z Panamera is :x :x :x

and the rolls :lol

I honestly think it's pretty cool... I know of a few people that have these types of "replica cars" the people I know don't really have financial constraints in terms of purchasing the real versions... instead they enjoy the process of building it themselves with kits (It is however typically older models that are extremely hard to find authentic or are simply to expensive too purchase real due to collector prices). Never really heard of anyone trying to pass one off as real, most people have pics of the entire process in the car and love sharing the process. Really cool to think a 350z can be turned into that imo... 8)

It would be a fun side hobby to build your own car.

I always wanted to build this GTM supercar $25k for the kit you just need your own LS power plant

Some look ok, but that "phantom" and the "panarama" are straight trash
