Got the black/gold in. Still a far cry from the OG and 06 retro (maybe even the 13 retro), but better overall than the white/red. The white leather stripe on the upper now has a shiny coating kn it almost looking vinyl-like. Not patent exactly, but similar.

Good to hear. Patiently waiting for those to go on sale. Definitely need them though. Haven't seen them anywhere except finish line.

How do the i-pac feel under foot? I have the 2013 retro and while the quality of materials are good, it’s no DMX. I may get the 22 pair for the i-pac tech aloneGot the black/gold ‘22 in as well. Makes me want to go on the hunt for a DS 2013 pair

Ain’t even try them on yet and have no desire soon. They look/feel cheap compared to the 2013 version IMO

The 2013 pair was actually bad I'm not sure wat y'all are talking about. The 22 pair is better quality wise and looks wise.

2013 pair looks better for sure; carbon heel panel, reflective lining on the vamp, side pods actually being separate from the midsole, lettering on the tongue. Thanks for posting pics. I'll wait for them to hit the deep discount

Just got my 22 pair in. These feel like Payless shoes in hand compared to my 2013 pair. I’m highly disappointed. I want answer 3s to retro but if the materials are this cheap Nevermind

There is another review he did of the 2013 pair called Update: Reebok Answer 1 2013 and he liked that pair. Some of the pairs were bad and some of them were good. Most of the people in here probably got good pairs as I think the majority were good. Mine from that release are really, really good.
I can tell from a quick look at the '22 that it's not as good. I'll still get one eventually though.

Answer 1 came out when l was in 9th grade. I remember thinking long and hard on whether l should get these or the air metal max. Went with the max.
