Red Ring on my Xbox 360! HELP!!!!!

That sad day has come and I dont wanna buy a new one. Tried the towel trick already but it doesnt wrk... so does anybody kno how to fix red ring for xbox 360????

the towel trick has brought me back to life plenty of times.  You have to wrap it up tight with like 3 towels or a blanket
and let it get super hot, to the point where there will only be 2 red rings (indicating overheating)
then let it cool down completely.  I've done it a bunch, before I finally decided to send it in

just send it in. Last time it happened to me I got a used XBOX from gamestop for $99 and a one year warranty with it for $20. not a bad deal at all.

towel trick makes it worse buddy...

its caused cuz the lil chip under the heating sinkers has gotten overheated, damaged, or out of place...

you could take it apart, push it down, but it might only work for a couple days..

my advice...

cop a new one, fams...

you can get an old body w/ out the chords and accessories for a solid $50...

I bought mine in 2007. Just got the RROD 2 weeks ago, checked my warranty online and its valid until May 31, 2011.


Needless to say I shipped that bad boy to Microsoft ASAP.
