"You don't call ******ed people ******s. Bad taste. You call your friends ******s."

New Rivals100 comes out today at around noon. I have a feeling that darrell Scoot is gonna be the #1 player in the nation. I also heard Jeremy Crabtree say that Dayne Crst got his 5* and that Matt Patchan is #10 overall. Just wondering if they will continue to drop Boubacar Cissoko and leave McGuffie all the way down at #90. McGuffie had 18 carries for 272 (15.1) and 6 TDs this past week in his first healthy game of the year. He will be on ESPN2 in the next week or so. I believe it is the 18th of October.

So, a lot of people dropped out of the top 100. One of the major discussions involves TJ Bryant out of Tallahassee Lincoln. Coaches say he is the best prospect to ever come out of there...better than Antonio Cromartie. So, TJ Dropped from a 5* to a 4*, which is understandable, but son also dropped out of the top 100 as a whole. He went from the 2nd/3rd rated corner in the nation, all the way to #8

Patrick Johnson is #1 (only 5* of the bunch)
DJ Monroe is #2
Boubacar Cissoko is #3
Lamaar Thomas is #4
Aaron Williams is #5
Aaron Hester is #6
Jenoris Jenkins is #7
TJ Bryant is #8

I still think we should have gone after Janorris Jenkins....imo

Also, Les Miles had the perfect timing to invite Big time recruits to LSU when they played against the Gators....A lot of recruits LOVED their visit esp. b/c of the atmosphere of the game...

Looks to be turning into a lock that Coach Fran will be out the door at Texas A&M at the end of the year...The Admin has reported a couple of possible violations to the NCAA for investigation, and seem to be getting their cards in order to kick him to the curb at the end of November...

First making Kyle Wright look like Peyton Manning and bringing the worst offensive gameplan in HISTORY to Miami, then the secret newsletter, and now he's running into a remaining schedule with games @ Tech, @ Nebraska, hosting 5-0 Kansas, then @ Oklahoma and Missouri, and Texas at home...He's going to be very lucky to come out of those games with 2 wins...5 years wasted and down the drain for the Aggies and Coach Fran in College Station.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A walk-on defensive back for the Florida Gators was killed early Friday when the motorcycle he was driving hit a median at a high rate of speed, police said.

Michael Guilford, a 19-year-old redshirt freshman from Quincy, was not wearing a helmet. Neither was passenger Ashley Slonina, a Florida junior from Lynn Haven who also died in the crash.
The two were riding a 1998 silver Kawasaki motorcycle when it struck a median near campus around 1 a.m., police spokesman Lt. Keith Kameg said. Kameg said officers estimated the motorcycle was traveling 25 to 30 mph over the speed limit.

Police were awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports and investigating a report that the students had been at a gathering at a nearby apartment complex before the crash, Kameg said.

Crisis counselors were available to meet with students who knew Guilford and Slonina.

Florida coach Urban Meyer, whose team does not play this week, was expected to release a statement later Friday.

Guilford, nicknamed "Sunshine" because his long blonde hair resembled that of Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass in the football movie "Remember the Titans," was named one of the scout team players of the week following Florida's win over Mississippi earlier this season.

Guilford also mimicked Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith during preparation for the Bowl Championship Series national title game in January.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Suspended Penn State running back Austin Scott has been charged with raping a woman at his on-campus apartment after meeting her at a bar.

Scott, 22, was arraigned Friday on charges of rape, sexual assault and two counts of aggravated indecent assault, all felonies, in connection with the Oct. 5 encounter.

Scott declined to comment as he left the courtroom Friday.

"The interaction he had with the woman involved was consensual, and we anticipate we will be able to prove that in court," his lawyer, Joseph Amendola, said. "Very optimistic. We're looking forward to the opportunity of establishing his innocence."

Authorities said the encounter occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 5. Coach Joe Paterno suspended Scott later that day, saying the tailback had violated an unspecified team rule.

Scott remains enrolled at Penn State.

"As with the case with any sexual assault, we consider it a matter adjudicated by the court, and we can't get into details at this point," university spokeswoman Lisa Powers said.

Scott also faces three misdemeanors: two counts of indecent assault and one count of simple assault. He was released on $50,000 unsecured bail and ordered to stay away from the alleged victim.

Scott remains on the roster but is still suspended, team spokesman Jeff Nelson said Friday.

"As coach Paterno stated earlier this week, he has not participated with the team since the end of last week and we do not have any further comment at this point," Nelson said.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday.
