Ray Donovan; new series on showtime

Liking it a lot more without Ray being around Abby, Bridgette and Conor this season. Also looking forward to seeing more of Lili Simmons

Bunchy as a luchador is going to be hilarious

Mickey still not giving up on that Hollywood dream writing his screenplays

Mickey also finally found someone that can tolerate him all the time with that dog

I thought he was going to when the guy was in the back of his car and Terry called :lol

Ray's still processing though.

Solid first episode. I'm most interested in the storyline with the therapist.

Abby gone. :hat

Hope Avi comes back though.

Man I am confused. Took me a minute till I realized Abby was gone. Wonder what happened? They played mind games with that accident.

Anyone remember that guy Bridget went and saw? Don’t remember him from past seasons.

This is going to be an interesting season.

Abby death going to be interesting. It can't be from the cancer not that quick.

I just assumed is what Brigdette and then Ray saw in that room is Abby just hung herself or she cut herself vertically and bled out.

Which is why Bridgette was crying.

Could be a simple died in her sleep though.

i think abby must have got whatever infection caleb from quantico got, maybe even from him

i think he was getting treatment with abby and now bridget wants revenge

i think the infection he had is what killed abby

also, killing her off might not be such a good thing if we're going to get flashbacks and visions of her all season :smh:

I feel like its going to be something big that went down. I dont think she would just kill herself.

One of the producers (or some other title) basically confirmed that's how its gonna be this season.

I'm still happy though since he also confirmed she won't show up again in future seasons.

Plus peep this ep, I barely recall hearing Abby speak (I know she did but barely important stuff). Some flashbacks felt like a damn dream sequence with her staring at Ray and him following. I can deal with that for this season.

I'm just wary of another corny Bridgette subplot.

I'd much rather catch up with Connor in military school. Would be cool if Carl from Shameless cameo'd

Okay I thought we were going to get less Abby but there was too much of her this ep, not feeling this ep at all 1 of my least fav in the series. I need more of Lili Simmons and less Abby

I wasn't going to finish this series but finally checking the thread it sounds like Abby is dead?
I don't know if that will be enough to pull me back in to finish but it's sure interesting.

It really just got to a place that was too dark with little redeeming or feel good moments, put me in a bad zone when and after I watched....Odd to explain but that's the best I can manage.

Those of you complaining about Abby's presence should just bow out now. I read an article recently about this season and she's the main focal point and will be in every single episode with a lot of camera time.

I can just picture some of you every time she's on screen..

Second episode brought more clarity to the Abby death.

The seizure she had and the doctor at the hospital makes it seem like the cancer came back and spread all over.

Nothing like a Donovan wedding without a fight. :lol

Glad they explained that random hole in the wall. It was driving me nuts.

In the teaser for next episode. I saw an almost hairless Abby. :nerd:

Knowing she's dead actually makes it bearably to watch her on screen this season.
