It's just weird to me how Kevin and Sheryl gotta answer for it. I get it to an extent but he is the one that said it. If this is supposed to be the "comedy community" he can explain instead of leaving them hanging.

He’s never going to be on those platforms for you to see him explain anything and the ones he’s on probably ain’t gonna grill him about it anyway.
Going off that other video posted I’m expecting a similar answer. Plus what is he going to explain? He’s just gonna say I thought the jokes were funny so I said them, if you don’t like it so what?
When everybody was pissed at Dave for telling trans jokes he didn’t go do a bunch of interviews explaining why, he did more specials and told more trans jokes.

I’m not comparing that at all. The topic doesn’t matter.
A comedian was criticized for making certain jokes. The comedian didn’t care, didn’t bother to explain themselves, and kept making the jokes. The only real difference is Dave talked about it a lot more.
Also the details of Dave jokes didn’t matter either. The joke this guy made among others was about George Floyd looking up from hell proud of Kevin Hart laughing so much he can’t breathe. It wasn’t about Floyd being killed cuz he was black.
