I kinda feel like JD was flexing in that Earn your leisure clip so people took offense
So many fans over the years got here about their favorite artists not making any money compared to what the labels made while they were being used. I think he could've gave context and mentioned Kriss Kross were millionaires because alot of people don't remember that or never knew that.
I give JD props he saw they could be stars and knew exactly how to create the music and sound that made a major impact on hip-hop
