Are you from the hood? I'm not asking that to be disingenuous, it's a real question. The industry is full of black dudes from the hood looking for come ups. One thing you learn from being in the hood is that when you see a sucka, you lick em. Drake was hip-hop's favorite lick. It's evident Drake wanted to be "down" so those ATL cats had no problem with letting him ride their waves as it was beneficial to their careers at the time but like Jay-Z said "it's only son long fake thugs can pretend." They were cool with Drake when he was humble but you have to imagine the more popular he got, the more emboldened he became and to cats really from that struggle, you have to imagine that they felt some type of way about this guy talking tough and rapping about things that they really lived. So to answer your question yes, it's called the music Business... None of these guys are really friends.Why tho?
