Gillie/Philly inspired Wayne is his apex hands down. He always had the charisma and mic presence but that lil extra inspiration (and possible references) filled it out
Looking back it really was a interesting mix of east coast and down south sensibilities
Post-Carter 2 Wayne (when he started going away from that style) is basically a caricature

Thats my point bruh. Y’all allowed guys like 69 into hip hop. Rap lost all credibility after that. Can’t ever be mad at any rap character. Let alone Wayne, who’s actually a legend.

Everybody know Suge did f'ed up **** but you can't just tell one side of his story. It wouldn't have been a Dearhrow w/o him getting Dre from Eazy and that lead to a whole domino effect with Snoop, Nate, Kurpt, Daz, Rage etc. It's stories about Suge helping peoles families that wasn't even signed to him. Depending on who you from people have different stories about Suge.
Suge took that black godfather image too far and stayed in BS too much.
