Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

 Just adding on to what I seen posted already. ASAP, you don’t know me, motivation, what you know, rubber band man, stand up, etc...

in retrospect, t.i. looked funny in the light after luda washed him on Stomp

But Luda peaked way faster and fell off about 2006, TI only went up post 2006

Ti was still big in 08. He had like 5 major singles off Paper Trail.

i know, i'm saying ti run was like 02-09, luda was like 01-06, though luda may have peaked higher, ti was around longer, and was more consistent

The Vent :hat

u gotta relaaax
we talking bout southern GREATS
not underachievers

Idk what it is or why, but Krit definitely has all the factors to be bigger than he is (pause), he just never blew up

First song I ever heard was “Dreamin” and I been a fan since, one of his most popular joints “The Vent” is heavily Drake influenced (since thats a hot topic in here)

I compare him to a southern J. Cole (I know Cole technically from the South), but in terms of producing a majority of their own work and their artistry.

Krit last album is great, easily one of my favorite projects last year
