We’ll see at the trail. All of this is part of the usual early tactics deployed by prosecution. Presenting the initial allegations before trial is completely different than when you’re actually at trial and are hearing the facts and evidence that they have on you.
Usually these first few months are spent trying to get folks to cooperate and take pleas. The prosecutors don’t want to actually go to trial, because they stand to lose. So they offer up deals if someone is willing to do their job for them.
I imagine they’d have to go to the discovery phase (the part of the proceedings where the prosecutors have to turn over all the evidence they have against you to your attorney so they can build your case) before we see Thug coppin a plea or anything.
It doesn’t look good right now, but we don’t really know what they have on Thug or Gunna. Their people already starting to fold though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this one gets ugly.
