Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

As you argue in support for the main type of rap/energy/aesthetic that fuels someone like Adam’s presence in hip hop.

That’s the only type of hip hop there is? Bruh you post a bunch of garbage daily.

“Energy”?
“Aesthetic”?

It’s entertainment me to me. I can’t help that dudes like you who are followers and had no parental guidance can’t see the difference.

He won't have no choice but to cop out and take a deal if his co-defendants are already rolling on him. 28 is too many people, somebody was bound to fold. Snitching is always a option but its career suicide for him or Gunna, the whole rap world is watching this case.

Gucci, 2chainz, Ross, Boosie all have had success into their 40s. (Boosie not 40 yet)

But Thug and Gunna like 31 and 28. Thug does 10, comes home at 41 and he’ll be well received. Of course he’ll lose 10 years but he’ll make a slight comeback if that’s what happens

They not giving him 10 lol
They want his Life
30-40 years will be the least they offer

I wonder what they really have on him
Enough to present to the jury that’s he’s one of the most dangerous men in Georgia.
His own homies say they fear for they life if they get on the stand and say that in front of a jury that’s all she wrote.

He better take a deal now tbh cause they want his life

We’ll see at the trial. All of this is part of the usual early tactics deployed by prosecution. Presenting the initial allegations before trial is completely different than when you’re actually at trial and are hearing the facts and evidence that they have on you.

Usually these first few months are spent trying to get folks to cooperate and take pleas. The prosecutors don’t want to actually go to trial, because they stand to lose. So they offer up deals if someone is willing to do their job for them.

I imagine they’d have to go to the discovery phase (the part of the proceedings where the prosecutors have to turn over all the evidence they have against you to your attorney so they can build your case) before we see Thug coppin a plea or anything.

It doesn’t look good right now, but we don’t really know what they have on Thug or Gunna. Their people already starting to fold though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this one gets ugly.

Yea and that’s all they need if they have 15-20 YSL members willing to testify against Thug his lawyers better keep it a buck with him and tell him it’s time to cop out Sex.

Bruh could say he rented the car in good faith and had no idea dudes would commit that crime.

Whoever can lie the best, finagle, make the he said, she said seem believable. Bruh gone be good. He has enough money to hire a good defense team.

I think he’ll do time but not 30-40

Discovery is where you hit the nail on the head. When they have to lay evidence out on the table to the defense that's when Thug might consider copping out. If its true that Thug gave a green light on Lucci in jail over a tapped phone its a wrap. You can't get more concrete than that.

I just can’t see 40-50 years. Yeah he might have ordered the hits on wire but he’s LUCKY Lucci wasn’t actually killed.

Yeah he’ll get time but I can’t see no life sentence or 40 years.

I’m agreeing with you bro. I just don’t think the plea bargain has to consist of 40 years. I think it’ll be wayyyy less.

The whole crew done flipped on him (judging by them being fearful so, yeah he definitely getting railroaded)

It's a 9 year investigation, meaning they could have picked him up years ago if they wanted to. They let him dig himself a grave with a concrete lid. If his lawyer can beat this, he's the new Johnnie Cochran.

I think we can say for a 100% fact that he’s not beating it. It’s a matter of what his sentence will be.
