Just read this lil DJ Toomp interview, he said Can’t Tell Me Nothing was supposed to be Kanye doing a remix of I Got My Money (which he produced), but when Ye flipped the beat Jeezy wasn’t feeling it

So Toomp and Ye just turned it into a Kanye song and Jeezy let him keep his adlibs








I guess Kanye ended up doing Put On as a kinda return favor tho
