Protect her from being a statistic. Protect her from getting tricked into doing things. When you know better, you do better. Kids gone do what they want to anyway, all you can do is equip them with the knowledge and step out the way and hope they make the best decisions with the wisdom you give them. While I don't think outright watching porn is the best approach (porn is already confusing enough for adults ) I can completely understand wanting to fully equip them with the knowledge and understanding to handle life.

When I was a kid, my mother made my sister take me along with her to a youth program she was a part of. One of the things that stick with me today, and guided all my sexual decisions was a crazy explicit video documenting a lot of the sexually transmitted deceases at the time (early 90s). Some of the wildest **** I had ever seen, I saw at like 7 years old. Blew my mind at the time, and really taught me the real world consequences. Sometimes that's a lot more valuable than a parental figure telling a kid just to take their word for it.

It's a very fine line, though. I was the only kid my age who was there, and my mother and sister had to push to let me sit with them, but I'm so thankful now that they did. I don't want no mushrooms on my ****.
