Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

It literally says Port of Miami 2 on the flyer, man.

The general confusion around whether he's dropping it this week or not has been hilarious. I think next week would be smarter, but I'm always here for some new Ross. Unless it's Hood Billionaire.

Think the confusion is because outside of that flyer about the release party we literally haven’t seen anything else about it lol.

I’m still confused lol but never too early. Hopefully it’s tomorrow

Side note , this is becoming more and more common.

How is it crazy?

Biggie and Pac have been gone longer than a lot of these 20 year olds have been alive. Other than Hov, who’s an anomaly in and of himself, the previous Top 5 cats haven’t impacted the newer generation the way we were. Imagine how tough it would be to try to convince the younger generations that Nas or Em are top 5 rappers based on their most recent projects.

Times change. It’s the ebb and flow of life.

I agree but KD is damn near 30 & literally has Pac tatted on him... so that's kind of crazy

i mean honestly
i wasnt alive when thriller RELEASED
but cant front on it being a classic
i wasnt alive when alot of these soul artist released classic records
but recognize them as classics
when something is classic
it transcends eras
and undeniable
i shouldnt have to explain a classic to ANYONE

also m&m aint a classic rapper
and has no classic albums

eminem definitely has a classic

no he doesnt
if u bout to say mmlp or sslp

Since when do classic albums only have to stand the test of time? Plenty of classic albums from legends dont and they're still considered classics.
