Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

The slim look wont go out because it's a relatively new look for us black/brown folk. Especially those born under the influence of hip hop

facts.

i remember old heads woulda called the pants Wayne had on in A Milli doing too much bc they red.

Now all the old heads dress slim up lol.

The more ****** let go of the “anything outside of ____ is gay” conditioning that the baggy era left them with the doper and more unique urban fashion gonna get.

even tho the company fumbled it it was dope to see dudes embrace the concept of a fashionnova mens.

idk aboht that romper **** they tryna push on yall boys tho. Gucci took the bait.

Just terrible :smh: ...those west coast cats were going extra hard with the colors every time I saw a video from out there

Yeah i cant rock with the lime green tight pants and the cheetah and animal print leggings.

Salute to those black boys for being themselves tho I can respect it.

They use to get light in high school. :smh::lol:

Anytime I heard that damn clap I headed in the other direction.

“the clap”

y’all finna go make me look up jerking and crank that ____ videos.

its so dope how at any given time in urban culture people 20-30 can have such similar memories of little random intangible ****.

were other regions krumping?
Yooo krumping was wild aggressive and dangerous

Wasn’t there a krumping movie?

P.S. I low key hated on Chris Brown back in the day cause dude use to master every dance immediately. I remember dude doing the chicken noodle soup on 106 and KILLING it effortlessly while I couldn’t do much after the “let rain and clear it out” portion :smh::lol:

people gonna bring up wayne andre and lil b but...i feel what he saying. if you know you know.

Gunna, Lil Baby and Uzi are all respectably Thugger offsprings that putting their own lil dab on it.

My boy dropped a track. What y'all think bout this?

Honestly, I appreciate the beat not being a trap beat and the reference of UGK F* My Car.

The hook is the best thing going for this song. The first verse was below average bars and lost my attention however the song did get a little better after the first hook.

I give it a 4/8

That moment when you go to a college event and feel old as heck even though you're not really old. Couldn't believe this was a dance/movement

I remember finding that Chicago footwork **** through my cousins when I was young and thinking it was the most bizarre **** ever

Asked my uncle why _’s was in the hood of Chicago dancing to “white people music” and got this LONG *** lecture I’ll never forget about black people’s history in the creation of House/Club music and how it was really black music and wasn’t just in Chicago but in Detroit, New Jersey, Baltimore, etc etc  :smh:
