My cousin got caught in the act once but because he technically wasn't in possession of anything illegal (just a lot of phones and chargers) they just took all his stuff and made him leave

Would guess it's fair to say Views was his peak. There's little to no hype for it(at least for me) going into the release.

It wasn't that long of a break, but that might have hurt his momentum a bit.

Don’t get me wrong there’s a ton of hype for this album and it will break streaming records, I’m just not interested in it and his last two albums were mediocre to me.

I don’t see how drake keeps getting bigger while his quality of music is declining. IMO of course.

Don't agree on the music quality declining, but he has a formula that works for him.

I just find his career trajectory kind of polarizing. He has potential to be the GOAT but he's not a traditional hip-hop artist.

He’s actually still getting bigger, but that’s because he attracts the pop crowd really well. It’s not related to his rap skills.

I'm missing it on the Drake music declining thing too. You could make the argument that he's essentially making the same songs as he did on SFG and as a result hasn't grown / fatigued on him, but records on So far gone would fit seamlessly on More Life and vice versa.

Do think he's improved as a rapper since SFG though.
