Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

You can say that for anybody

Their style complimented the production

Cam fire
Juelz fire
JR fire

Even 40 cal had some ****

To say they’re wack as a whole is something I’ve never even read
Just couldn’t get into Cam and his Scooby Doo rhymes. Juelz was definitely nice. Ion know man, that video posted a page or two back talking about how Harlem dudes are is pretty much how I saw them. I felt Jim was a clown, but at the same time thought he had the best outing out of all of em.

106 & Park hasn't been the same after they let Macho Man go on there to promote his rap album back in 2003. It lost credibility for that.

One of the most memorable residences ever on MTV Cribs.

Redman & Penny Hardaway had the most memorable houses on that show because they were polar opposites in terms of optics.

Redman actually a messy home on that show, whereas most of the people profiled on it tried to floss with big houses.

I think I'm going to agree with my friend who said Penny had the best house ever on MTV Cribs. That thing was big and nice. It even had a bowling alley in it!

Oh boy...

that album aint get the props it shouldve.

It had a special kinda feelin to it…
One of my favorites of last year tbh, Common and Pete still got it :hat

Definitely flew a bit under the radar because of how stacked a year it was for the genre, especially around summertime when it dropped.

Think it's one of those albums that'll get more recognition as a gem over time as more people eventually check it out, especially if they continue the series as planned
