Felt the same about that version as well. The album version has some unnecessary tweaksthis, easily one of dude best verses. mixtape version also sounds way better than the album for whatever reason.

Besides the number one reason, a lot of them can't sing and are dependent on technology
They miss out on the fundamentals of singing
Labels aren't investing in you with singing coaches, help with performances....
Look at these 50+ year old singers and their performances and compare it to newer acts.
