Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I ain’t keeping up but someone said they wasn’t even looking for dolph in particular but any pre member then seen him riding around. They was catching them slipping at the turkey drives (before/after) I guess. $500 tho that’s crazy, they was better off asking bro for a job.
This sounds the most reasonable.

Would justify shortchanging them imo as well.

It's possible that Jook took matters in his own hands and kept Gotti out of it. No way he'd be dumb enough to include him in it.
This would be plausible if it wasn’t like the 4th attempt on Dolph’s life by Gotti’s ppl or folks connected to him…So either way he knew about it n cosigned it or he’s a super weak “boss” that don’t mind his folks going rogue to kill

So is Wayne really taking shots at Kendrick or is this some AI stuff. The person who showed me almost exclusively gets their news from FB so I dont trust it.

Yea, it wasn't memorable to me. I expected better.

This the way I look at it

He gave 2/3 diff dimensions

Catered to a few diff crowds

Metro brings out the slower more anthem like jawns

South side London and wheezy bring the gutter raw ish that he can just spaz on that old fans wanna hear

I prefer mixtape Pluto to WDTY by far

I feel like these guys are lying. As far as the Young Dolph trial.

I'm 31 and Future has been making the same music since I was in high school. I didn't believe the OGs when they said you outgrow certain things, music included but here I am today... Mans dropped 3 projects and I wasn't able to finish any of them. Future and Drake are the rap game Peter Pans. They refuse to grow up sonically.

I will say this. I’m 29 and all through my early to mid 20’s I was a huge future fan. Still am, but as I get older I don’t feel the urge to jam it like I used to. It’s like him and Drake are trying to just remake songs they made before sometimes. That’s why Honestly Nevermind has been my favorite Drake project of this decade.

I'm 42 but was old and washed beyond my years by time future dropped. I missed a whole generation of music because I refused to listen to that sound. Futch and all the clones that came after I could never catch on with.
