I sometimes wonder how the few hit wonders make enough to sustain a living. Residuals/show money here & there cant be enough right? And I just don't picture them working regular jobs.

Hes in the trailer. Not sure his character will talk much though and they don't even mention NERD or The Neptunes by name. The movie will probably do well given Legos popularity and folks won't really care how accurate the story is.

Start with the early childhood, gloss over the 90s and 00s, then jump straight into his highly successful 20-year solo career. Neptunes and N.E.R.D are major parts of his life but I don’t think they necessarily “define” him at this point.
