Rank the NBA Championship teams this decade from best to worst

2. 2003 Spurs; knocked off the 3 time defending champs (David Robinson
smokin.gif
); Duncan needed 2 blocks to record a quadruple double in Gm. 6 of the Finals
but as a team, they wasnt that good (compared to the other Spurs team). That was morethan likely the most One-Man-carried Championship team ever. The second best player on the team averaged about 13 points & 3 assists a game. All the otherSpurs Championship teams wouldve deaded that 03 team. Yall ranking them too high.

05/07 Spurs >>>>>>> 03 Spurs, easily.

And I wouldnt put the Celtics team ahead of any of the Lakers/Spurs teams, or the Pistons team.

It's good to see people acknowledging what happened in 06.

Also that Pistons team that won it very quietly was great. Their bench was the truth.

so you just glossed over the reasons stated (which is real talk btw), with no backing? Nice.

yes it was.

the reason i ranked the celtics as high as i did was because although they struggled with atlanta and boston they beat both detroit and the lakers inconvincing fashion. that game 6 left a strong impression.

i see where you guys are comming from though ranking the 2003 spurs and 2004 pistons higher though. i regret not putting the pistons higher in my list becausethey stepped it up that year plus they were good champions also, they were the closest team besides the 2000-02 lakers to repeat as well.

i ranked the 2002 lakers at #2 because they swept the first round and finals beat a very good spurs team in 5. struggled against sacramento but if itweren't for some no calls in the final minute of that game 5 the lakers win that series in 6.

that pistons team has to be one of the most underated championship teams ever... how you win with no true star or center? props and no im not a pistons fanonly really liked them when isiah played for them

David Robinson was washed up (damn near Ewing on Sonics status), T.P was nowhere near as good as he is now (he was damn near traded after that season becauseof how much of a liability they felt he was at the time), nether was Manu. LOL @ Kerr.

Revisionist history FTW.

i wouldn't go that far, they did close things out when i thought dallas would win games 6 and 7. bust still their championship will be looked within the same regards as the 1978 bullets and 1979 sonics championships that are pretty much forgotten by most sports fans.

QFT. Absolute nonsense.

^ I think the worst one is this one I've seen on youtube before of Wade dribbling, Dirk about 2-3 feet away from him, and Wade trips and gets Dirk calledfor a foul.

Watching, I couldn't believe it, and I was so confused how it was a foul.

Re-watching it hundreds of times since then, it's pathetically hilarious.

I don't think this is the one, but he elbows Dirk in the stomach in this one:

And this one isn't related to that series, but this is my favorite call for Wade of all time:

Also they did win 66 games and had a huge average margin of victory. They had some jitters in the first 2 rounds, but it was their first playoffrun as a group. I think they're top 5. But obviously I'm biased.

all the championship dvds from i would say 1997 on until now have sucked compared to the older ones. they changed the whole format and set up of them.

as much as you really liked that game 6 blowout in 2003 i enjoyed derek fishers 0.4 shot even more
pimp.gif

so were all in agreement with the 2001 Lakers being number 1 though i see
pimp.gif

its gonna be fun ranking the mlb world series winners this decade after the world series because their really wasn't a real dominant world series winnerthis decade

the 0.4 shot was crazy.

my whole block went nuts after fisher made it. still the shot duncan made prior to it is one of the most underrated shots i've ever seen. it'sbittersweet though because i thought after they beat san antonio, nothing was going to stop them from winning that year. boy was i wrong.
