R&B Thread About Nothing

I see yall slept on this pretty ricky and b2k versuz. This joint is VERY entertaining and the boy pleasure p vocals are impeccable!

Came across this on the Bobby Valentine’s podcast. She seemed dope but this song is cold. Played this joint 11 or 12 times today.

My dog RICO LOVE dropped an album. Had no clue he was doing an album. Like the samples and old sound he went for. This **** is smooth.

Wasn’t gonna watch cause I don’t **** with B2K. Only a couple people in the Rap thread watched. Pretty Ricky might be the only group to have a classic album with every song having at least one horrible verse on it. I’d argue both their albums are classics and P’s solo is mad good too.

I have a hot take, if you take the five best songs from each PR album, it’s a top 5 rnb album of all time. The sound was so mature and fresh but still paid homage to great songs in the past. And yeah, slick pull em was not needed on most of the songs.

They still slaughtered b2k tho :lol it was like watching Jodeci vs immature. B2k was doing songs we were hearing for the first time 😂

Immature’s sound is more “mature” than B2K’s oddly enough

B2K sounded horrible last night, but they are what happens when you make microwave music that only hot for the moment,it sounds outdated and has no lasting effects on the culture

Listening to City Pop, I saw our influence but I didn't know much of what came after.

Whole lot of "legal" Blackface here too. My goodness.
