R&B Thread About Nothing

I was going to say that in my last post. That was the only one I didn't care for on the first album.

I think "London Town" was the first Kano album I heard, but "Home Sweet Home" was crazy!
See, I wish Craig's label had veteod 'Bootyman' and replace it with one of the songs that ended up being a B-side of his.....he had some great unreleased tracks back then!

^^^^^I rock with the acoustic version of the song way more than the studio version of it. I always felt Craig shined his brightest when it was just his voice and Fraser T. Smith on the guitar, so when he dropped acoustic versions of his songs, I tend to always like them better.

Talking about Craig David have the 18 year old me coming out (I am telling my age right now, but whatever LOL).

"Bootyman" was still a solid track lol. I was sold on the "Born To Do It" album once "7 Days" dropped. "Last Night" got so much burn on that Music Choice cable channel. Should've been a single. "You Know What" is my fav Craig David track, hands down. When he came back out with that "What's Your Flava", ehhh. I feel like such a casual saying that, to this day, I still haven't listened to that follow-up album.

'You Know What' is my all time favorite song by him as well.....I can NEVER get tired listening to it and also it has a special meaning to me as well.

LMBO @ saying eh to 'What's Your Flava'. I mean, there were some good songs on the 2nd album ('What's Changed', 'Rise & Fall' with Sting, 'Personal' and when I am in a particular mood 'Eenie Meenie' are a few off the top of my head), but it definitely was not like his 1st or 3rd albums.

"You Know What", yep!! I'll have to get back to you on my favorite track. There's so many..."You Don't Miss Your Water(Til the Well Runs Dry)", the DJ Premier remix of "7 Days" with Mos Def...

"Eenie Meenie" is serious. Gotta crank that whenever it pops up.

Stay away from my girl punk , you been warned

I've been warned??

YOOOO.....Messiahbolical's rap on 'Eenie Meenie' is everything (IMO anyway)! I need to Google him and see what happened to him.

Okay, you are '84.....I am '83, so we could hang out. :emoji_laughing:
