Quick question: I always hear the term "god-fearing man/woman" being thrown out there, especially on dating sites. Why would one worship a God they were in constant fear of? What kind of God has its own followers shook?

To them it's a good thing to have a "healthy" fear of your creator. GOD-fearing ppl don't question their religion or lord in any forceful way, they don't make light of clearly hateful and offensive stuff that can be poked fun at.

The term is an old world type of thinking. Fear and respect are almost one in the same to ppl like that.

It's almost child like to fear the being that allegedly has unconditional love for you but w/e.

I think they simply want someone that is more controllable that they can use, "The Word" into shaming/guilting them into doing things.

What is this higher power? You mean like how we are a higher power to bacteria? Would you consider us Gods to bacteria and viruses? And is the higher power one supreme being or a race of supreme beings? And does said higher power have a higher power? According to your theory of spontaneity God must have spontaneously formed right? How come those laws don't apply to your higher power.

You cannot have a gargae full of car parts blow up the garage and end up with a M3... doesnt work like that. There is no one entity who controls the universe to put all that power into one being would not be ideal or productive as duality is always the case in the subject of power and responsibility and relation to one another... read some books outside of the academia list and you might learn a thing or 2

higher power is the universal language on which every animate object operates. The matrix is a perfect example of the higher power. You must tune your mind to the right channels in order to comprehend what is being displayed. We are all connected within this plane of existence. You must figure out your path to see the way..

God is you and you are God. God is not an entity but a force outside this realm which governs the order of the universe. Karma is a reaction to the energy we put out. Whether good or bad things will happen to you based of your vibrational releases and how u choose to react to them. Its much more of a state of mind rather than bodily devotion.

Biochemistry doesn't work like car parts, so your comparison isn't useful here.

actually it does. law of averages doesn't mean it can't happen just that its not likely. infinite monkey theorem argues that it is possible for an m3 to form. not likely but possible

Now let me tell you how GOOD my God is! Here's my testimony ....

So this morning I woke up.. got dressed... did a half "make up" job .. ehhh... (I'm more into hygiene, cleanliness, & skin care than actual "makeup" ... but I digress...)

So, I did my makeup (something slight) & IMMEDIATELY halted when I started to do my eyebrows. WHAT THE WHAT??? Now I'm not that into make up.. but there's TWO THINGS that I will do - eyes & lips. MY EYEBROWS WERE A HOT MESS! (I almost didn't go to church, lol.. SIKE)

So here's what GOD did! He said "Daughter... I got you..."

... Fast forward - now after church, I changed my heels, put on my flats & Jesus took the wheel. Guess where He drove me?? (*inserts praise break*) ... He drove me to a nice little store in the mall & my favorite lady was there!!!

SHE HOOKED ME UUUUUP! (but I still gotta add a little powder though cuz my brows are thin)

So now I'm here today.... giving my testimony on the goodness of the Lord!!! Nothing is too hard for my Lord!! Now tell your neighbor ...... HE TURNED IT!!
