I had the old ones, but I would think that the newer ones would fit better.

My biggest riff, was the 99 retro had a padded tongue like originals did and these and every other retro IV after the 99's weren't padded at all, butbasically man, it's more than just the obvious differences you can see by comparing pics. If you could put the 99's on 1 foot and the latest ones fromthe pack on the other foot and take 2 steps, you'd know. Quality!!!!

I said it before and I'll say it again, "comparing the modern day retro IV's to the 99' IV's is like comparing night to day"

You don't need a keen eyesight to see the discernible differences...oh and don't let me get started on the quality issues!
