Brand-wise, go with either Sperry or Rockport. And you might wanna look into getting some socks for 'em...I found these socks that look like littleballerina slippers at Journeys, and you can't see the socks at all when you have the shoes on. They really helped to keep the shoes from smelling terrible.

I haven't worn my Sperrys in months though...I got a pair of cowboy boots and haven't taken 'em off since

I think it's hilarious that ya'll are trying to dress like the quintessential Southern Frat Boy. What I wonder is have you ever been to a predominantlywhite university? You would see how goofy people look wearing those.

These are dressy casual shoes. What's wrong with that?
I like to see guys wearing Sperrys or something similar with button ups and polos then AF1's and Vans...

I agree a lot of fratty people wear these shoes...especially here...but why should that be the reason not to wear them?

"Urban fashion" became so cannibalistic and naval gazing that people needed to look to other styles in order to bring in a sense of innovation. Lookback at how people were dressing from 02-05; do you really want to go back to rocking velour sweats with white on whites and Mitchell and Ness throwbacks withUNK jeans and Timbs? If so, be my guest but as the market grew up they realized that look only goes so far before you look in the mirror and feel like a clown.The more I get away from thinking and acting like a kid the less I want to look like one.
