Shouldn't be your wife to begin with then if that's what you concerned about

She's not going to.

That's why some of us were saying thin >> thick

Less concerns about that

Maybe you misinterpreted what I said

A thin girl can get fat too, so what you gonna do? Divorce her? Would make your marriage seem real shallow and superficial.

Obviously but it's less likely

Id exercise with her

Of course it's not the most important factor but I think one should take into consideration what their partner will look like down the line

Same reason I would be wary of a thin chick who doesn't exercise and/or eats horribly, a smoker, a heavy drinker etc

If so much wasn't destroyed, I think we would know n have so much more knowledge about astronomy, the concept of time, etc.

I didnt know that theory was thought by some to discredit certain races of ability.

According to eddie griffin a pyramid is a diamond with half of it being built underground or something like that

I don't kno fam but im reading and researching so I can understand it myself because there are definitely some pieces missing from the puzzle.. Like how they got those megalithic stones into place.. Where did they get them from too, there aren't any mountains close by. Ish really makes me think bruh...Dudes had to have had some heavy machinery or some technology that we know nothing about in this day in time..

Im reading a book on time by Sean Carroll called, "From Eternity To Here- The Quest For The Ultimate Theory Of Time"

Its a pretty dope read, I just have to keep my dictionay close by...

Keep your racist, sexist, and heterosexist opinions to yourself or you'll be banned.

I don't know why people see topics like this one and think our forum rules go right out the window.

If you've been enjoying this thread: you'd better help keep it clean by reporting any rule violations from this point forward.  It's on the verge of being locked.

I've heard that point made a few times and you can pursue it to see how true it is.

Ancient Aliens would have you think ancient civilization was too dumb to build any of the monolithic structures or that they didn't have the necessary tools to make certain designs or they were too dumb to make the calculations so it must be help from aliens. They load up the premise by downplaying the capability pf the ppl so much that they make it seem like they're just asking a simple curious question when it's not, same thing with Chariot of the GODs.

It's odd to me for there to be so many racial undertones in the new agers movement.

Even when reading across dedicated conspiracy forums, most of the ppl there are racist.

That's how I feel about it. Those ancient peoples, including the Moai and those that built Stonehenge, are made out to be simple-minded peoples. I believe that they were just as capable as we are now. With the right minds and enough manpower, which they obviously had because there wasn't much else to do, anything could be done. It's made out as these peoples were incapable of feeling civic pride by constructing something that was bigger than them; both figuratively and literally.

Never seen that Eddie Griffin video, but it was a good watch. Wish I had some reps to rep you @nawghtyhare

I want to believe in bigfoot.

I'm in love with the concept of large undiscovered animals.

Yep.

They are literally our ancestors n get no love. Yet somehow...Nevermind, don't want to open that can of worms.

It is crazy to believe they were incapable tho.

It's very unpopular yet popular at the same time.

The flood myth.

It's the only way to fit the unexplained into a timeline.

That the reset button on civilization has been hit so many times.

It makes sense tho. I mean when we came out of the Ice Age, that melted ice n snow had to go somewhere, right?

I believe time is not linear, but rather cyclical n that everything that is going on now has happened before. Not to the 'T', but at least in some aspect, which is why "new" discoveries (e.g. technology, structures, civilizations, etc.) of the ancients are always happening. I also think that our DNA has memories from our ancestors as well, which would explain intuition, gut feelings, n the like. Your ancestors have already seen/experienced these things n that's their way of making sure you don't mess up n fall victim to carelessness.

When science catches up and admits that, what implications do you or anyone think this will have on cultures with traditions that honor ancestors?

First, I think the scientific community would rejoice, simply kuz this would lead to further understanding of who n what we are n it may hopefully give way to an answer to the age-old question of "Where did we come from?" Secondly, I would hope that those cultures would continue living their lives, but also give insight into what it means to honor your ancestors. I'm sure they wouldn't mind knowing they were among those that were right. However, with all good comes bad n there are those out there nefarious enough to use that information in the wrong way. I believe that this scenario would play out first n things will become worse before they get better, as is the case for most breakthroughs.

What are your thoughts on this?

I always felt this way too, to the point where I would find myself kind of mad whenever I heard someone mention aliens being involved. Like I'm the one personally being underestimated or something :lol
