Random sites now selling out instantly too. Crazy. Burdeen and Clark sports and grandstand sox have some great caps too. I think folks have caught on to all of them, big and small

Some new pickups
-2006 white sox original on field. MUSA. 100% wool. Can’t get enough backups of these
-2012 TBTC tigers on field. MUSA. 100% poly. This usa made era of turn back the clock caps are just so well made. I finally found a backup after all these years.
-not generally a fan of the 95 logo but it pops nicely on this HC custom (I think others have done this). Wool from Bangladesh. Solid but not amazing.
-brand new guardians two tone on field. It’s Bangladesh made poly and just like all the customs out there. Average fuzz. Sort of bulbous stuff crown compared to the others.

Quick comparison between American poly and Bangladesh poly. There’s a certain vibrant fuzz to the American poly. The diagonal design is less noticeable on American poly.

Love their chi city connect green under custom.

Not exactly sure what drops in person vs. online only. Just found it interesting some made it out into the wild on a random site but still happened to basically sell out.

Capcon is a convention for cap enthusiasts, just like Sneakercon but for caps. They have most of the hype caps for resale prices and a lot of pins from new designers.

It’s a sub convention within a regular convention. It originated last year out of the minds of a few guys froM the community (fittedfoos, crown kingz and yote city)

It’s a monthly street fair that had lots of vendors selling pins, patches, vintage clothing, sneakers, Funko pops and some other cool stuff like homemade candles, custom clothing and accessories ie croc charms. Like more of a dedicated flea market. Obviously hat community had grown so more hat and sneaker vendors began to show up so some of the well known vendors put together the idea of capcon



It’s gone pretty good so far with events in Pasadena and AZ so far and Houston, NYC later this year.

It’s pretty cool. Def not like sneakercon since there’s all kinds of vendors everywhere but there are those that are hopping on the hat hype train and overcharging for hats. But overall it’s a fun time because the majority of the hat vendors are community folks who are active on community groups and not just vendors looking to cash in.

Well that definitely sounds more interesting - kinda cool actually. I love that it's free, too. Sounds like a fun way to kill a few hours and drop some cash. Hope you had fun!

Lids doesn't do that, and my advice is don't even bother, yourself.

I took both the Giants logo and batterman off an old fitted I wasn't wearing to customize it with some hometown front/rear patches and the batterman probably took me 3 hours even with a seam ripper + tweezers. All the trouble is due to the stitching going through the fabric and the seam tape as well.

Absolute pain.
