I made thousands working part-time, my manager threw shifts at me right and left, its easy to get tangled up in work when its easy/you work with cool people.
But don't let your chase for $$ be more important than chilling with friends/school

I was 13 or 14... cracking walnuts for a client of my mom. She was a pastry chef and used walnuts for all kinds of things. $50 per bag.

Summer job, 14 @ some community college. I forget the name of it at the moment. Think it was $7.15 an hour. I was livery/mail man; delivered messages, packages, tools, new hardware, changed water bottles at the coolers, etc. Had a similar summer job all throughout HS until senior year.
