Great lists in here and new **** to pick up on. I'm all about burning and having a chill melody to breeze off to :smokin..

Miles Davis - Blue In Green

Can't get more chill than this. A staple for me late at night.

Mentioned this before. If I was stuck on a desert island & could only have 2 albums it would be Kind Of Blue & ATCQ's Low End Theory...

Glenn Gould - Bach English Suite 3: VII. Gigue & J.S. Bach - Goldberg Variations: Aria

Sometimes when I need to clear my head & chill, I play some mellow classical (typically piano pieces) or jazz...

The only song I don't have on there is that Pomo edit of Nothing Can Come Between Us... Can't find it anywhere to DL... :rolleyes

I've been fortunate to have seen Sade live several times dating back to '93 at DC's DAR Constitution Hall... In addition to her vocal's & song writing, what makes Sade so good is her band too.

Hope you guys have been down with their side project from years back called Sweetback. Their first release is a classic. The second was just ok.

Sweetback - You Will Rise (ft. Amel Larrieux), Cottonbelly remix, Softly Softly (ft. Maxwell), & Au Natural (ft Bahamadia)

Cottonbelly is the alter ego of Stuart Matthewman. He's done some film score work, dub albums, & co-wrote/produced for artists like Maxell...

Sweetback - Hope She'll Be Happier (ft. Leroy Osbourne)

Nice hook up Ro! Repped!

This is another track off of Sweetback's first release featuring Leroy Osbourne (Sade's long time back up singer) covering the Bill Wither's classic.

Sade - Nothing Can Come Between Us (live)

That's Leroy in this live version of Nothing... He's also on her albums...

Yeah, that first Sweetback album is very dope.  Used to throw that joint on as background study music back in the college days.  Not in love with the second one, however.

A lot of those remixes and B-Sides are hard to track down, and some of them I never knew existed until a few years ago.  I need to own these joints though....

@psk2310  Agreed about the band.  I saw them twice on the SOL tour and was blown away by how tight they sounded.  The first show I was in the nosebleeds, so I didn't get a true sense of how good they were.  The second time I was fortunate to score second row seats, and seeing them do their thing up close is THE highlight of my live concert career.  When they'd hit those pockets of groove and be totally in sync with each other....wow.

This is probably my favorite showcase of their live capabilities.  Jammin'!

Twin Danger - I Love Loving You & When It Counts, & Save It

Damn, I almost forgot. I was looking over my CDs just know & saw this one. It's Stuart Matthewman's latest side project. Kinda jazz/noir ish vibe. The singer's name is Vanessa Bley.

Gold Panda - Clarke's Dream

Gilles Peterson just dropped this new track from Gold Panda... Love the lo-fi vibe...

Bebel Gilberto - August Day Song & the King Britt Remix

The summer already seems to be waning. Noticing it's getting a little darker earlier & the weather is a lil bit cooler already here in the B More "Urea"...

Fleetwood Mac - Dreams

I've posted many a genre of music but some classic rock... This song is mad chill...

The Eagles - I Can't Tell You Why
