\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I’ve gotten a taycan, panamera, and cayenne in the past as well but the vast majority of the time it’s a macan. Also helps that I’m friends with the service manager.

im dying at the Ferrari EV. Holy **** what an abomination

Ferrari made their own Prius. Enzo is rolling in his grave.

Admittedly, I'm currently a broke boy with not a shot in heck of being able to afford this, but if money was no object, I'd buy this in heart beat. This car will easily become a sought after collector's item/vehicle in due time.

Took the Jeep to the beach for the first time today. Put it in sand mode and suspension in off road 1 to lift it a bit (more for looks). Handled the sand like a champ. Got a year pass to the beach cuz I plan to be driving on here a ton.

Wanna call down to Rocklin for me and put in a good word so I can get a Taycan or panamera lol

You're almost as arrogant and delusional as the CEO of Ferrari. They won't be able to give these things away. The people that bought whatever car to get a SF90 lost half a million already.

That’s what I figured. I was gonna ask for a Taycan but I figured they only loaned out Macan’s

Also close with the loaner person at my dealership. Back in 2014-2018 I would get 911s and Caymans as loaners. Obviously with the market changing that is quite unlikely.

Nowadays it's almost always a Taycan, Macan or Cayenne. But she still lets me choose at least. I typically choose the Cayenne hybrid since it's 450hp or so. I have gotten a Panamera Turbo S once.

Solid weekend ripping the back roads 🇺🇸

I think I'm done tinkering with the suspension on the 996TT. I had a Tarett GT3 front sway bar and drop links installed a few weeks ago to match the rear setup.

Michelin PS4S are getting installed tomorrow. I just had a set installed on the 991 TTS last month and I love them. Loads of grip and improved ride.

Quick hit with the 3M kit. Not bad for $15

The before is kinda hard to see. Not yellow but a lot of oxidation and old compound, etc baked in

The final step is 2 coats with those 3M clear coat wipes. Supposed to be pretty good for what it is

2k clear from a can or gun is official though. I’ll go that route next time if these don’t last
i used the Cerakote kit on my daily back in april and they still look great

Missed out on 992.2 touring at msrp. Previous buyer backed out but was not in love with the spec. It retrospect if I needed a little time to think about it it wasn’t the one.
Tough choice, given I was in your situation idk if I could pass. You would get to drive that amazing machine for at least 5k miles at zero cost .

bro the porsche economics are ridiculous, i see 40k mile 992 turbo s go for like over 200k
Man GTS, Turbo S and GT3 ( especially a Touring ) if you can get those at MSRP it is a sure thing you can drive it for free…. I said 5k miles but it would probably be closer to 10k and that’s keeping it for a year.

If I had 300k liquid and the time to actually put 5k-10k mi on it I definitely would jump at the chance but I don’t have either hahaha

inshallah u will! i believe in u!

I’m heading in the opposite direction, I’ve been looking in GT cars specifically DB11 AMR, DBS and older Vanquish S. I think my M3 will be the last fun car I own.

Yet even as I type this the thought of a V12 Vantage S with a dogleg 6 speed manual is calling my name
i don't think any of those will give u the same feel as a porsche, theres a reason they hold so much value

Man...i just sit here everyday and look at 991.2 GT3's, wondering how long I should wait. Should I really stretch myself to make it happen or be financially responsible and wait to pull the trigger (wait it out and save some more towards the down payment, finance a small amount at a good rate, and maybe hope prices stabilize a bit).

The only thing giving me grace is that the prices on 991s have started to bottom up and climb. 991s hit the low $70s at one point and now it's back up around $80-$90k, especially with mines being a limited color, low miles, and super high spec Carrera S model. if it continues to climb, it'll help towards the GT3 purchase down the road.
