\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I would say find one on FB marketplace or something and pay 25-30k Performance model is worth it on the Y for sure. You can also pass it through a dealer so you're eligibile for the 4k rebate on used EV.
What you mean pass it through the dealer?

This is horrible advice. I know people don’t come to the car thread (or NT even) for marriage tips, but this isn’t it. Married couples should absolutely be keeping each other in check. If you can’t do this respectfully, you should not be getting married. Major financial decisions should absolutely be a family decision.
i agree, it definitely shouldn’t be one sided as well. even if it’s just some $30 item online i always check with my wife first because it’s our money. at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what money or items i had before i got married, it’s ours now it’s no longer mine 🤷‍♂️

The same thing happened to me but it wasn’t that bad. Cost me almost $800 for the dealer to diagnose and ultimately use some electrical tape. Replacing the harness would have cost me about $2000

They should just wrap them in spicy tape from the factory but then they couldn’t repair them.

Saw a Toyota grand Highlander today. Didn’t even know those existed. It looks pretty nice in person

BALLING!!!! I said it before, but it’s some rich people in this thread, I tell you..

Man all you did was make me feel bad about the purchase. I'm cheap it took a lot for me to get comfortable with dropping this much on a car but I can write it off as a business expense. The car is a damn mortgage payment for some.

It never was outrageous if you knew what it was. Its not a higher trim or a more Shelby Shelby, its a whole racecar. A Ford GT3 RS.

Yeah it is a race car.

Yeah, It's what I've been trying to tell people since they unveiled the car, what it actually is and no one understood or even believed it. Most saw the spoiler (a chassis mounted one I might add) and said it's just another "Shelby-type" Mustang.

Ugh NO! Built by the company who built the Ford GT street cars, who also developed and build the GT Lemans class winning cars AND the GT3 class Mustang. You won't believe how many people get bent out of shape when you call this a "LeMans racecar for the street". They act like it isn't. It literally is. And WITHOUT the racing class restrictions (GT3 class is limited to 450-550 hp there about). I still say for what it is, it's phenomenal! But a lot of Mustang people hate seeing this overshadow their precious "Terminators" for greatest Mustang ever made. 🤷

Don’t get my wrong. Ford did a hell of a job with the GTD and it’s awesome that an American car company finally broke the sub 7 min mark on the ring.

But the Porsche GT3RS already conquered this with a 10 second faster time and nearly 300 horse power less. Shows how insane Porsche cars are. I can only imagine what Porsche has up their sleeves for the 992.2 GT2RS

Yeah, I’m not taking anything away from Ford. It’s honestly impressive that they could get a mustang to do this. People just make it seem like this is record territory when it’s already been done ages ago and Porsche is already working on beating their own record.

At the end of the day, consumers win from this friendly battle.

I'm at Valvoline for an oil change, and I requested a top-side extraction. These guys just broke the plastic tube in the dipstick hole. They're admitting liability and want to send me to their mechanic, but they're letting me leave with the tube still stuck in there. I'm so confused right now.

Their mechanic is not available until Monday and they said if anything further happens they would cover it. SmH!

Calling that a battle is probably an insult to the engineers over at Porsche :lol . They are in a different league.

Insurance does cover it but I am not going to put a claim on my record for this. I will pay it and get reimbursed by the garage. They admitted fault. I told them you guys have 2 choices, I get paid out or I dont pay rent there until we are even.

Bill is 3600 and change. I told Jim not to repair the harness (he said he could but doesnt advise it), to replace it.

14 hrs to change it.
