\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I picked up my new car yesterday. I’m in love. I almost slept in it. Coming from a 340i

I live off valley circle also. Maybe i'll see you cruising some day. I got my last BMW from Center, where did you get yours?

Hard pass on a 560hp, 4,500lb sedan with a manual transmission. There's a reason why no one ordered them with a manual...

Snapper Rocks Blue. So much better than the grey/white/black options. I wanted something fun.

That is Snapper Rocks Blue! It's beautiful as I saw a BMW sitting at a local high end collision shop about a year ago and the teal in the color in the sun was just amazing. I actually called the shop on my way home to ask them the color name. I love that color.

Went to the porsche dealership in stl before i left to take some pics on my camera, they had the gt3’s tucked in the back. That targa with the red top was callin me. I like that gt3 touring more than the gt2 . Really a sleeper....sorta

Love the GT2!

To think there are 4 GT2's sitting at the bottom of the ocean off the coast of France. It was considerate of Porsche to reproduce those 4 cars for the owners that were lost even though production had just stopped.

thinking it may be time to get into something new(er) once covid subsides and I'm driving more regularly. driving a beater is getting old, though i still appreciate the utility of not worrying about it

never been into SUVs or ever considered one but '11-13 X5Ms have been intriguing me lately. looks like lower mileage ones are hard to find but can be had for < $30K

i can DIY some things and have a good independent BMW guy right down the street. but i know i'm asking to get nickeled and dimed with one of those

and that's if nothing major breaks. the S63 seems more reliable than the N63 (not saying much) and doesn't have the glaring issues like rod bearings in the S65. but still a laundry list of common issues

i've always loved E92 M3s and would still buy one but they don't check as many boxes as the X5M for me to justify... :emoji_thinking:

so yeah door damage in my opinion is gunna be a total unless u dont care about the quality, but when u spend on a luxury whip u should not stand for weird noises and whistling after a repair.

anyways i hate insurance companies they r the worst
Happened to my homie brand new 392 (only had it a month B4 his accident). Rear passenger was f'd up and passenger door and rear bumper had decent damage.

Could've sworn it was gon be totaled but they ended up fixing it (granted it took two whole months).

I'm guessing he either rly like his car or his insurance went up (they both was at fault) cuz I sure wouldn't keep it after that damage

Yeah especially with the rear quarter panel cuz its more intricate to replace compared to a front fender

this isn’t as cool as the x5m but my boy has a diesel x5. It’s a torque monster. Only issue it’s had was some carbon buildup that was around a stack to get walnut blasted.

great mpg for a bigger whip and pulls hard.
