\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

And your original post was asking insight. What did you want, confirmation in the purchase? If you had your mind already set why ask for insight.
That's funny though because I've had G35x's for the past 5 years and they've been great in the snow. I've driven all over NYC
dope, thanks for the info since its like a bigger G35, im sure the FX will do decent with city driving

Well since you asked. I owned a fx35 for quite some time. It did not perform well in rough conditions. I drove it in Detroit and New Orleans and the roads there are terrible. It also did not perform well in snow. It's kind of like driving a larger g35 or 350Z.

And by the way Internet tough guy...Next time, just ask someone "hey, have you owned one" before you immediately denounce someone's comment.
yea im an "internet tough guy" cuz you CLEARLY stated you owned one off jump, and tellin me to get a jeep or tahoe, if i wanted a tahoe or jeep i woulda said that..
thanks for your input anyway

Been in NYC a little over a year now and thinking about getting a mid size SUV due to snow and horrible roads here, i been driving for 10 years now since i am from CA, and i cant do this train/cab/bus **** anymore

been thinking about copping a 05-08 Infiniti FX35, any insight on this particular model?

I got a good deal on this at my dealer so I bought it lol. Fully loaded minus the navi. Got some plans for this car lol

I really want an Audi but I think Im going to have to go with Lexus. Thinking of IS250 F Sport. Is reliability that much better on Japanese cars? I don't want to be dropping a ton on repairs and oil changes.

i dont think its really the issue of reliability its the issue of neglecting maintenance. if u went by the audis manual and did all the maintenance on time by a good mechanic then it would be very reliable but people cheap out and just get oil changes at the jiffy lube every 5k+ miles and think the car should run good then they also use lower octance gas to save money and all this contributes to other parts failing.

Quick detailed in my garage after work. Also put on a coat of White Diamond on top of the m16 I already had on there. :)

And I used this as my quick detailer.

Do these come with a OEM stagger setup? If they do then you have them on backwards. Your fronts are in the back, and rears in the front. Looks like a 18/19 stagger backwards.

... Or am I trippin?

Either that or your tire sizes are messed up. Rears look way meatier. Not a good look.

The car itself is awesome though, and the color. :smokin

i'm pretty sure a staggered setup refers to the width of the wheels and not the diamter. the rim's would both either be 18's or 19's, but the rears should be wider than the fronts. the rears probably do have a tire with a larger width though, but it could just be the camera angle.

i've plastidipped my wheels and was thinking about painting my calipers blue when i bought some actual black rims this spring!!!! so thank you for posting that picture even though i've now decided to just go with red after seeing yours :lol

Not a problem man!

My stock color on my brembos was red. But I got bored with red and went with Blue. Not many people have blue calipers IMO.

Here a better pic for ya.

And with the plastidip. If I didnt have these gloss black ones. I would have tried out the plastidip on my OEM's. But 850 shipped for the set of Reps was too good of a deal not to have 2 sets of rims.

staggered can also be the wheel size if im not mistaken

and the back wheels are suppose to be meatier in staggered setup

They can be the size or the width.

Like my Jeep for instance, its staggered width wise. Up front I have 20 x 9 and in the back I have 20 x 10.
