looking for a new mountain bike for the upcoming spring/summer season, i dont know much information about bikes and i know there are some bike experts here. what is a decent/good mountain bike under $500?

this is what i am using so far, raleigh m-30fs. its decent but i want something a little better.

glad i got the bike attachment, no more stuffing dirty frames into the car.

dont like the thule designs.

all my friends have yakima racks with different attachments, makes it easier if i wanna swap parts.

smh. i had one in the 90s. i used to be on my bike every single day with my friends or w/e. ive always wanted to get into bmx, and i figure im still youngso why not. ive been searching craigslist religously for one, but havent found one i really like.

i have this all aluminum diamondback i copped in 99

i was killin' it ridin' that to school everyday

still have it. i looked at it this morning wantin' to ride it...

nobody could tell me !$!% when i was ridin' that thing...
