You're a better man than me buying someones used kicks for two grand.. I would try to get a refund or put them back on the Market.. If you missed out on the Kanye LV's when they first dropped take that on the chin.. Just by looking at the bottom you can tell dude wore them every time he hit the town.. And got an awful lot of wear out of them.. Think about the refurbishing he had to do just to get them to the condition they are currently in.. When he decided to sell them they probably looked much worse... smh..

what's the longest you guys have had something held up in customs? These SLP boots haven't updated since entering customs in NY on the 31st |I USPS has been no help and the customs office is impossible to get ahold of/doubt they'll be any help either. They're coming from the Netherlands.

i would get rid of those jaspers quick man. shouldn't have done it. those are beat. i cant imagine paying 2k for shoes let alone a pair that beat.

Those Jaspers are too beat for $2350…IMO only worth $900. That sole looks worked, not to mention the condition of that suede. I'd get rid of it asap. You could have gotten DS Dons for that price.

Maybe around 2 weeks for me. Was never worried though, USPS is just really slow like that, even their tracking won't update until it's already been delivered. If it's USPS and it's been updated and that it's being held there, I already consider that a good news with USPS.
Give it another week, keep in mind these guys don't really work much on weekends so it's really only been 4 work days, that isn't so bad at all unless it's some rush delivery or priority where it has guaranteed delivery date, it'll take as much time as it can in their facilities.

from my understanding the grey pink jaspers and everything else restocked while these didn't. I wasn't heavy in the shoe game back in 09 so im not sure and will take you word for it. If these did restock they did in a much less number then did the other lv models. Also I think these was a difference in the serial numbers between the two versions although I am not sure about that either

thanks guys, I try to avoid international shipping as much as possible. I've gotten Visvims and stuff from Japan but never remember them getting held up in customs for more than a day or two. I'm the least patient person ever

I disagree. If you love an article of clothing, shoe, car, house and have the paper to buy it, you would buy it. It's all about living within your means if you choose to or being responsible.
Back in 2009 $800-$1000 sneakers were a stretch from most of us here on NT. A lot of us in this thread, in 2005-06, were all into the popular Prada, Gucci, Bally and LV price range for sneakers around $275-$425.
If you live out of your means, that's on you. Buy what you like or makes you happy. I could of bought the Black Jaspers and Red Don's also for retail. I had them in my hand, LOL!
I had to say no to my SA and it was hard, haha. I had other bills to pay

we can agree to disagree, all I know is I'd buy a Bentley before I spent 2000 on a sneaker.
Cars aren't comparable though because a car comes with maintenance charges, monthly payments, depreciation and higher car insurance charges. Maybe he isn't into cars and these kicks are his "Ferrari".
Me personally, I'm going for jewelry at that price range and above.
