MAN YALL MENTIONING DBSS

I ALWAYS WANT THIS GREY PAIR.

I WAS TOO BUSY OVERPAYING FOR LIMITED NIKES INSTEAD OF COPPING QUALITY

SMH

seen them joints on a Facebook group a little while ago

and I feel you about Nikes, I wasted a lot of time tryna find some reasonably priced black yeezy 2s lol

MART IF U SEE THEM IN A 41 HOLLA AT ME

smallest size is a US 8 but it probably fits more like a 9.5, only ones I seen somebody selling in that size right now are these

rfx45 rfx45 I thought those DBSS came out before the Givenchy, I admit I'm not really sure but it's no way you can say the interest in Japanese brands comes anywhere near the interest in European brands right now, some Chicago hood rat complemented me on my Arenas the other day lol

Yah DBSS came first but the Givenchy is more wearable just because it's overall smaller on your feet.

As for European vs Japanese brands, it's always been European is what I am saying. Gucci, Prada, LV, Fendi, Burberry, etc... these are brands everyone knows and familiar with. It never went away. Outside of BAPE and maybe Evisu, I am not sure many would know of any other Japanese brands especially here in NT. How many even know that Uniqlo is a Japanese brand? SO I'm juts saying it isn't really the Euro trend that made DBSS disappear.

Yohji, Junya, Visvim, CDG and Undercover are probably the names most are familiar with but not many more other could name. And most are probably just familiar with CDG due to the PLAY line and Visvim for the fringed shoe. Ato was somewhat interesting here in the beginning but just like DBSS, retailers were limited and hype died off quick. KK Attachment, Julius, Viridi-Anne, Soloist, Non-Native, etc... are some of the biggest and most popular Japanese brands out there and I am not sure many are aware of those here.

Wheres the pic of the KVA sneakers?
Not really European trend that dictates it, it's the weird sizing and the fact that DBSS were very hard to find to begin with so not many got to experience them. Japanese brands are still very much in demand, just got to visit other forums. NT never really caught on with Japanese brands to begin with. Overall, DBSS didn't sell well so the e-retailers that sold them so eventually they stopped carrying them. Oki-Nis stock hit 70% off iirc and it still wasn't moving, doesn't help that the good looking designed one were probably only available in Japan. They are also much bulkier than Ricks geo and that is saying something. They really did look like snowboard shoes there for a minute. I think the last new design I remember them having looks very Givenchy-ish.
i owned that black pair. i dont know if i would say they were bulkier than ricks , but they were def pretty heavy and the sizing was ******ed like rfx45 said. its damn near a boot . if the size i had fit better i wouldve kept em , but i just dont know what they were trying to do . like whatever the point was of that footwear , it didnt come across clear enough for consumers to want it or even know about it .

yo what happened to ato's? itd still be cool to own a pair of those i think . . .

I like those solid colored, all leather Balenciaga, it is a nice change. It's simple and can be very versatile. Just clean and simple.

Anyone got info on the sizing of the FBT JP's (visvim)? Know NT isn't really the Japanese brand connoisseur, but figures it can't hurt to ask. I know most people say to size a half down, but I'm also aware that newer models started fitting more TTS, and there's also no half sizes past 9.5, and I'm usually a 9. Anyway, if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great.
I have a few pairs of Visvim but all were purchased years ago now. I always found the regular FBT model fit almost a full size big. I'm a true 10....wear 9.5 in a few shoes, and I could very comfortably fit a 9 in FBT's. Shaman's and Lhamo's on the other hand fit true or even a little small. A 10 in those felt smaller than the 9 in my regular FBT. As mentioned, these are all from
4+ years back so sizing may have changed.

Ah damn, literally just bought my TTS like 30 seconds ago. Ah well, from what I hear the newer models fit closer to TTS, so cross my fingers.
