Is this Tye of rusting on arena eyelets normal? This is my only pair. Had them for about a year and finally unds'ed today, only to have this happen and step in dog shiiii.....smh

If you can get the eyelits off i would sand and repaint them, but im guessing they might not have a gap to remove the d ring.
