It's the blue Oyster Perpetual, pretty much replaced the 36mm Explorer, watch is underrated. 3,6,9 are lumed

Totally bizarre, and I would love to hear the story. 5 sport models is totally OD (in my opinion). For the money I'd be looking at gold AP's (again, just me).

I am not a big fan of many APs to be honest and was not really interested in the RO until that extra thin but even then it just didn't work for me. Hell I have Hublot so that tells you my preference when it comes to look/style.

I'm really picky when it comes to gold, I don't like yellow gold, it's either white gold or rose gold for me. In the end I chose variety over one or two pricier pieces, I just like to be able to pick and choose and change it up every so often. I was highly considering a rose gold Daytona but again I chose variety of one white dial and one black dial over one rose gold watch.

Nothing else really spoke to me, AP, VC, Patek, A. Lange, etc... plus most way too dressy. Only other one I consider was the Reverse TT1931 but that didn't fit my tiny wrist. Actually I've been considering a Cartier Tank so don't be surprised if that eventually becomes my last purchase for the year, for real this time. I actually like the VC Overseas Auto (non-chrono) but it was too big for me as well and wasn't readily available.

There are also a lot to weigh with those other brands like maintenance costing in the thousands for Patek and AP and AP having terrible post-sale service (some watches get stuck for months to a year when getting some work/service done), while the Rolexes are just bullet proof and despite them being sport watches they are more middle ground and can be dressed up. Some may frown upon wearing a Sub with a suit but I have no problem with that, Daytona is very versatile as it wears smaller and pretty slim. The Explorer and OP can easily be a dress watch too. I still have my IWC Portugues Chrono if I really need a watch for dressing up but about 99% of the time, the Rolexes works for me.

All good. Gold is tough to wear, but I would love either a gold GMT (black face) or Daytona.

I'm a massive Rolex fan, and I'm planning on picking up an LV Sub fairly soon (BLNR was on my list but I don't like PCL's).

Rolex all the way. Hublot is nothing more than a fashion watch with good marketing. At least Rolex has some history.

I second the pass on Hubolt for a rolex instead. Hubolt looks nice at times but I would rather get an AP over it. Rolex holds it value easily and the versatility (depends on model) is above all.

Hmmm depends on your tailor. Some Tailors just fold the excess fabric and stitch over it to tighten the waist. I'm not a fan of that method. You should visit a tailor and have him pin you so everything remains proportionate. Like taper the legs along with slim the waist etc. If you're in NYC, I recommend http://www.thetailoringroom.com. They're amazing in there. Ask for Frankie.

What's sizing like on the BLK DNM Leather 5 Jacket?

I think I need a Large due to my chest size but I am concerned with sleeve length ( 5'10", 165lbs) Thoughts

Ssense should have sizing.

I'm a firm believer that riders are meant to be somewhat cropped, so 25-26" body length is too much for those of us whom are under 6' tall.

I would stick with the Vanson.

Ssense measures sleeve length at 27.5" for a Large. I'm gonna try for a medium and if it just doesn't work in the chest/shoulders I'll be forced to go Vanson.

I'm about the same size as you 5'10 and 155lbs, I have both sz S and sz M. Sz S is really tight and need to take a deep breath if I need to zip the jacket up. Medium will fit you just right IMO.
