From what I read the birds were higher on Maclin than Cooper. Maclin wants a 1 year "prove-it" deal where he can get his value up. The birds wanna sign him to a multi year deal, probably so they can capitalize on his low value right now. 

Can't really be mad at Maclin for wanting a 1 year deal to increase his value.

roseman has said repeatedly he's taking the BPA when it comes to our pick.. but looking a this draft i think that ends up being a defensive guy in the 1st

and probably 2nd too, unless one of the WRs drop (like cooks)

was disappointed in the watkins pick, just because it was clear cut just drafting for need.. with the belief we were looking to win now and simply drafted who we believed to be the most ready to play.. no long term view.. basically just said we need a guard, so let's draft this guy to plug in
