Sucks, the defense played well early, offense never took off (other than Shady). Then the defense just fell apart. That 3rd down where we had KC backed up in the end zone was HUGE. No thanks to Nate Allen....

I wish this team could learn how to tackle better and cover the intermediate post route. Macolm Floyd killed them last week.

By the way, I flew out to Philly last week for my first home game. Beside the loss, it was quite the experience to be surround by green everywhere.

Never thought it was gonna be easy, we were a 4-12 team last year for a reason. That many holes can't be filled in ONE season. But fundamentals SHOULD be, we made so many mistakes last night any other team with an aggressive QB woulda won by 20+

- Damaris fair catching inside the 10 yard line (like he always does) then fumbling
- opening Chiefs kickoff return going 40 yards
- Vick's pick 6 and staring down receivers all night
- Lane Johnson and Herremans being beat like a drum ALL night by that Houston guy
- Riley Cooper getting zero separation
- redzone playcalling
- Henery with another missed field goal
- linebackers and safeties that can't tackle/cover an infant on third down

The schedules makers did us NO favors with 3 games in 11 days, immediately followed by 3 straight on the road. This season is gonna get ugly if the entire team can't make some major adjustments. I don't even wanna think about playing Peyton Manning next :x

^^ Spot on. We are in an adjustment period....I'll be the first to admit I'm wayyy optimistic at 10-6 prediction, its more likely we win 6-7 games. But with how bad our division is, we still have a chance. Likely we go 1-3, no need for a kneejerk reaction. Skins were 3-6 last yr and won the division. 8-8 may very well win this division, turnovers killed us and Henerey HAS to be able to make those kicks man. I know hes just a kicker but he hits the one last week and we win that game and if he hits the one last night that last drive gives us a chance to win, not just try and get back from being down 10. He needs to be better. Vick holds the ball too long still, the turnovers kill any team.

Our offense is great, the turnovers kill any football team, Chip's isn't some exception. We will continue to pile up yds and points at a nice rate, the defensive line was encouraging. Vinny Curry MUST play from here on out, he showed why, kid balled tonight. The LBs gotta tackle, Earl Wolff makes mistakes but I can live with that from a rookie as he also makes plays Nate Allen doesn't. Kendricks and Allen missed sooooooooo many tackles :x :x. I'm far from panic mode, even if we lose next week we have Tampa up next and they are a trainwreck and could very well bench freeman by then. Gonna be a process, this was never gonna be a quick fix. The next draft needs to be about defense, well maybe a QB first but then load up the D with 3-4 guys. We're gonna be fine...Chip isn't a miracle worker, and remember Andy went 5-11 his first yr too. They didn't execute point blank. Those 3rd downs though My lord if we could get ONE stop we may be 2-1 or 3-0. Season is far from over though. I've already had to turn off WIP streaming at work this morning can't take the blowhard overblown reaction.

I like Vick but he's Vick; what you saw last night is what you get

I'm thinking we take Boyd, Braxton or Mariota next draft and spend the majority of the picks on our D

do yall think the eagles can sustain running this pace all game? i think they should slow down and use the no huddle here and there as a changeup. last night the defense was on the field for 40 minutes to the offense for 20 minutes :x

also, for the love of god someone teach them to form tackle. or just tackle in general

The offense will met a middle ground IMO

Vick isn't truly who Kelly wants as his QB but he was the best option for year 1

He wants a QB who makes smarter decisions and less turnovers

when you look at the last two games the defense is on the field so long MAINLY because they can't stop anyone and last night cuz of the turnovers, not simply because the offense is blazingly fast IMO. Overall I think they should alternate with the speed but it's hard to do it when you're playing from behind knowing your defense can't stop anyone and you NEED to score 30 a night

Chip doesn't intend to use the uptempo pace all game long.. Just look at the skins game..



But we had 5 turnovers which skews the time of possession.. And Reid actually ran the ball (should probably say Childress ran the ball)


Our defense is going take some time.. I think we have a couple pieces.. But are secondary is almost completely replaceable (the only cb I like is Boykin.. Maybe fletcher)

They picked up 3rd and 10 from the 5 in the 4th.. 3rd and 19.. And 3rd and 15




And the chargers were 10 for 15 on 3rd down
