also, the hangtag had (until potential buyer decided to take it off) a "Made In Taiwan" sticker on it, that is standard, yes?

Yes, the insoles may have extra strings underneath. As for the hangtag, I can't recall ever seeing a sticker on it.

The excess string is nothing to worry about, pretty much all Olive Vs have it due to the material (Ripstop) they're made with.

And the "Made in Taiwan" sticker is fine too ...again, most models that came with hangtags during that mid '00s period, had it.
